State Farm's flagship app for account management, claims, banking and more is under constant iteration and improvement. I served as UX Designer while tackling the online banking portion and supporting the Android development team. Responsibilities varied from establishing style guidelines to specific feature requests.

State Farm wanted a polished and "un-Sharepoint" looking Sharepoint site to showcase the UX Center of Excellence. I was tasked with finding a friendly and visually appealing way to introduce non-UX practitioners to our process and practice.
Client: State Farm's user experience practice consists of over 130 practitioners in 4 main hub centers across the county.
As the UX Designer for Cox Media Group's premium subscription site initiative, I was responsible for everything from brainstorming and white-boarding sessions, to overall design including branding, commenting functionality, search pages, weather, and font size tools. And let's not forget the research and testing to validate everything. I worked closely with development to create a responsive and mobile-friendly templated system for multiple newspaper sites throughout the country, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Austin American Statesman, and the Palm Beach Post.
Client: Cox Media Group has operated over 100 media channels in the television, radio and newspaper industries.
WSB-TV's weather app may have given users accurate weather, but was failing in users' expectations. I was tasked with assessing design and usability of both the tablet and mobile app. This included competitive and comparative research, facilitating usability tests, identifying user pain points, and developing a plan for design and usability improvements.

As lead designer, I established creative design direction and created all assets, multi-lingual modules and page templates (supporting both left-right and right-left text).
Designed interior site templates, as well as concepts for promotional products. Also responsible for eating complimentary Cinnabons.
Client: Travelport provides critical transaction processing solutions to companies operating in the global travel industry. Travelport has a presence in over 170 countries and a net revenue of $2.0 billion.
After Goody rebranded itself as a a modern hair product company, they wanted a youthful, fashion-forward site. I worked closely with my art director to incorporate product photography with textures and brand colors, resulting in eye-catching visuals. I served as designer for all interior pages, including product detail pages, form pages, and all other e-commerce templates.
Client: Goody is a brand of hair-styling products owned by Newell Rubbermaid.
As the lead designer, I was responsible for a complete site redesign, including concepts, art direction, template design, graphics and UI elements. I was destined for future work in the insurance industry.

Silver Dollar City needed an inviting and user-friendly site to promote its attractions and offer online ticket sales. I established the design direction and created custom styles and visuals for each of the four theme park sites.
Client: Silver Dollar City Attractions is a theme park in Branson, Missouri that includes White Water water park, river excursion and theatre on the Showboat Branson Belle, and accommodations at the Wilderness Cabins.
Mobile design for My Coke Rewards featuring Olympic sports and stars. Used images of health-conscious athletes and Coca-Cola branding to encourage sugary drink consumption and win prizes.
